spanish photographer andres gallardo, presents his latest photo series, urban geometries. gallardo captures the architectural language of an intercontinental range of cities, revealing the development of each urban area with representations of buildings across decades. from heritage brutalist structures to contemporary formal object buildings, the diverse language between and within each city is revealed.
gallardo describes the project as a journey of self development which initiated in tallinn, estonia in 2013. ‘urban geometry‘ took the photographer to visit cities such as berlin, paris, copenhagen, helsinki, malmo, brussels, milano, alicante, hamburg, prague, huesca, tartu, vilnius, bremen, seoul and beijing.
